The trip to ‘Japanese Centre of Culture and Technology’

On 28th of April 2011 we went to Cracow with our class IaG and an English teacher Aleksandra Chruściel and Ms Ewa Brachaniec to visit ‘Japanese Centre of Culture and Technology’.

At first, we went to the old Jewish district of Kazimierz where we saw old streets, buildings and Jewish synagogues. When we had a break in The New Square ( Plac Nowy ) we decided to taste famous sandwiches (Polish ‘zapiekanki’) which were really delicious.

After that, we went to ‘Japanese Centre’ which is situated by the Vistula River. We took part in calligraphy workshop and saw an interesting multimedia presentation and an exhibition about Japanese everyday life and culture.

Then, we went to the Main Square where we met Scottish musicians and many tourists from different countries. At the end of our trip we had delicious ice cream.

It was an amazing trip. We had a great time because the weather was fantastic.
